Lublin, Poland before the Poland Invasion

View of the Jewish Quarter in Stoczek, near Lublin, Poland. It was fired bombed by the Germans shortly after this picture was taken.

Original German caption reads: The Jewish Quarter in Stoczek.
Harper Woolcock
This picture is right before the invasion of Poland. This was shot in 1939 outside of Lublin, Poland, the Jewish Quarter. After this was taken the town was bombed by the Germans. Even though it looks like it has already been bombed. This is the before picture before a tragedy happens.
